2011 v50 t5 r
I have been a Volvo lover for 20 years and have driven almost nothing else for that entire time. Last December I bought a 2011 V50 T5 R with 6000 miles from the dealer. It is red, fast and very beautiful. Unfortunately I have had some serious problems. At about 9000 miles I started getting shaking and noises from the front right, I took it to the dealer and they told me the right front wheel hub had separated and they replaced it (we all know this is a front wheel drive car). Last week I started having loud screeching metal on metal noises from the left front side. I took it in to the dealer and they told me the left front wheel hub had gone bad too…at 14,940 miles. The dealer also performed the scheduled 15,000 mile service while the car was with them.
After getting the car back for two days I came out from dinner at 11:30 p.m. and when I started the car the check engine light was on. I barely made it home as the car progressively lost power and the check engine light blinking more furiously, coming up my mountain road. I thought I would be stranded on a dark windy road all alone.
I am wondering if anyone else has experienced similar issues with this car or the S40 T5 R?
