Default Dead motor worth trying to fix?

Hi I'm new here and have 2006 V50 manual transmission
and the motor died at 200K miles.
Could just be a blown head gasket.
Car is in good shape but no time to fix it and trying to find someone to change a motor these days is....
Any thoughts ?
The alternative is to sell it as it is and buy something else?
Thanks

Buy your self a Workshop Manual.. If you can tear it apart as we are with or 2007 V50 (Blown Head Gasket).. the Haynes Manual will Help. as for being a Dead motor. If it Seized then replace motor if you can urn the Flywheel you good to go ahead and fix at home.

If you can't do this yourself (in your driveway or garage - and even then the cost of fixing your car will be way more than it will ever be worth) . SO - either accept the loss and move on - or spend more than the car could ever be worth fixing it. (and hopefully it you can't do it yourself, be able to find a shop that would be willing to do it for you)

Sorry for the bad news, and sorry for your loss. .
