Drivers windshield wiper slap
When I changed blades I used the recommended blade size on that little computer in the store. I believe the slap has been getting worse.
The drivers blade goes too far and jumps onto the windshield pillar and makes a slapping noise. If it were a smaller blade it wouldn't clean the top part of the windshield.
To me, it looks like both blades do not park in the lowest position. I had a Cadillac that had a protocol to re-set the blades. Does my 2007 V50 have such a protocol.
I tried to remove the blade to set the location (maybe it slipped due to snow last winter but it didn't want to pull off the mount. I din't want to pull to hard and break something. I know how Volvo likes to have special tools and special ways to remove things and didn't want to force it too much.
Any ideas?

I'd just remove the arms and reinstall them in a better position. Remove the nut and give the arm a solid whack or two with your hand at about the middle of the arm. That should pop it loose. Sometimes I need to use a puller but that's rare.
