How to disable alarm on 2005 V50?
So the past few days my hazards have been sporadically turning on by themselves and it won't let me shut them off. I'm going to try and replace the hazard switch, but before I do that I wanted to see if it was perhaps the alarm malfunctioning and if it'd stop when I disconnect the alarm. I just can't figure out how to disable it. Nothing in the manual says anything about fuses for the alarm or siren control modules...does such a fuse exist? Or how else would I be able to disarm the alarm? Thank you!
I know such fuse exists on S60 models, but I think is connected with other electrical systems such as windows, moonroof. Not sure though.
The other way is to disconnect the siren module, that causes this (a small battery inside starts leaking after 10 years). Usually located inside the right front wheel well.

I have a v40 2004 and the siren just started going off without anyone or anything around the car. I was wondering if there is a fuse to pull until my garage can take it in the week of the 19tth.
thank you for the help.
