Motot mounts how hard to install
Well I have been suspecting this for a while but didn't have anyone to do the test. I can't be two places at one.
Today my son came by and I had him sit in the car, gear selector in first and rev the engine. The motor lifted in the front.
I suspect this had something to do with my February 20th post " 2007 growls when turning right"
It is now making the noise when you give the car gas and at the same time you are also hitting a dip in the road.
The odd thing is that after the car has been driven 30 miles or so it is not as noticeable.
My caddie had the normal motor mounts but it also had dog bones that kept the engine from torquing. Those bones were an easy quick replacement. The front motor mount was not because you had to lower the engine cage.
So I am wondering how hard it is to replace the engine mounts in the V50.
Was thinking it was struts but now I think mounts. This guy had the same sounds as I have.
