I have a 2008 V50 1.8f and it has one very annoying problem.
Sometimes when I start it the engine just idles and refuses to rev for a about 10 or 15 seconds. Sometimes it will spin for a few seconds before starting. Occasionally it will cut out when coasting, recently it cut out and refused to start again for about 2 minutes, then started and has been perfect since.
I suspect some kind of engine management glitch or a faulty cold start device. I had a diagnostic check by a local garage but no fault found.
Any suggestions anyone?
