tozito would you email the pics to me and I will get them hosted where people can see your work. I myself need to do this same thing and it looks to be a serious PITY and its always way easier to do with some good visuals from someone who has done it before. It seems that v50 wiring diagrams are very hard to find as I have found one yet. and the locations of everything would be very helpful. I don't like taking trim panels off any more that absolutely neccesecary, due to cracking snaps and fasteners so this info would greatly help.

ok I see the clip thats purple on the drawing and understand to twist the blower out, but how to release the connector? It shows down and out on the same drawing but it won't release. is there a trick or something? This base been a difficult project, from the very beginning. Having big arms and hands it has been very difficult. I slog on, the wife cannot do without the ac and I can't deal with the wife with no ac.

I have the v50 2006. Whilst similar not exactly the same, I have a button on the rounded end that must be depressed while turning. Tommorrow I will attempt to get it out. For the most part this info will work on v50's but its a little different. I hope this helps someone as there is scant info on this problem.

I can't believe that I cannot seem to get this thing out,This is what it looks like there is a release above the wiring connection I can feel it goes in and out blower won't move and there is a rectangular recessed button on the rounded end. Does anyone know if this is the release?
Any experienced help is greatly appreciated !

Thank you for all the tips! Especially for Tozito. We did a fan replacement for V50 2010 manual LHD. It was pretty difficult, sweat and tears. Endoscope camera was a big help for the air intake valve bolts. On the driver side we needed to remove the brake and the accelerator pedals. Spent a couple of hours taking T20 screws from the fan, this was unnecessary. Removal of the connector and a quarter turn counter clockwise was enough. It took the whole day but success in the end still.
