Default Volvo v50 R high mileage

Okay so I don't make many posts here and don't really use the forum very much aside from looking for answers to questions about my car (s). I bought a 2010 Volvo v50 R design back near the end of November of last year. I love the car but when I was looking around on the lot I bought it from I was a little reluctant because of the mileage. It had 158,000. I wasn't too worried about it because of the reliability and build quality of Vovlos in general and still being fairly new I went ahead and bought it. So far the only thing that has failed was the original Volvo factory battery. Are there any other high mileage v50 owners on here? Any testimonies, good or bad I'd love to hear from you! I'm now at 165k and change.

Change the timing belt if you don't have the record!

Oh I made certain that was done and got maintenance records. It was stamped on the timing belt cover.

Default Shocks

My v50 is a little older 2006 with about 100k miles. I have changed all 4 shocks. Check yours to see if they are leaking. My alternator went last year as well.
