looking for diagnosis or potential solutions to this issue.

flickering lights / turn signal / power window controls / issues putting car into gear after starting.

running fine otherwise, error message on dash for airbag service

 

That almost has to be a central electronics unit issue, doesn't it? I have not heard anything bad about them on this particular model, but of course they're getting old.

 

I bought my car with 216000km and now I’m close to 250000km. I knew it needed work when I bought it such as pcv system and a new timing belt and I have done all that since buying it. I’ve also done preventative maintenance such as regular oil changes, new fuel filter, air filters, new spark plugs, new maf sensor, transmission fluid change to name a few things.
