WE have the same problem with our V70 2001 2.4!!! It started 4 weeks ago and the car takes about 10 seconds to start in the morning but the rest of the day it starts pretty instantly. We had the plugs replaced, had a load test run on the starter, alternator and battery.
Can anybody help us???

This is what I do now its worth a try, when you get in the car in the morning turn on the Ignition and leave it on for about 5 seconds before you crank it over, mins starts immediatly after this, let me know if it works for you
I'm having the same issue with my 04. It's only on these cold days. I read in another thread that replacing a temperature sensor will solve this but have yet to find anyone who has done this.
Sorry to revive an old thread but I figured it was better than starting a whole new topic.
