Default 1997 V70 T5 Warning light

Hi all!

Hoping someone could help as ive had a warning light pop up but not sure to what it means and cant seem to find anything on it anywhere on the internet! Does anyone have an idea to what its indicating? Engine issue? Electronic issue? I have cleared it with an obd device but its came back again also have noted when accelerating away i some times see the battery warning light flash. Thanks in advance! Aaron.

That's a lambda symbol. Equivalent to the check engine light we have in the US. It indicates you have a self diagnostic trouble code stored in your OBD system. Scan, note the codes, and form a rational reasonable diagnostic approach to figure out why those codes are being stored. (something other than guess, buy, replace, get frustrated, and repeat)

Alternator light flashing when accelerating - when was the last time your serpentine belt was replaced? It could be very worn and slipping when first accelerating.
