Default 1998 V70R rear suspension problem

hi there

i have a so far awell restored v70r and have noticed that the rear of the car is sitting a lot higher than it used to and was wondering if this is a common problemand if i need to change the rear shocks or not , the other problem is do i have to buy dealer parts or is there an alternative make to consider.

Welcome, as for dealer parts i dont bother, I use someone called german and swedish here in britain, The parts can be a third of the price compared to volvo. in usa someone else will advise you where to go there, good luck.

The rear suspension should be self leveling and you can't change it without spending a lot of money to do so. It will sit higher because that is the way it is.
