I recently bought a 2000 V70 and it does not have the roof rails. I was recently in the junk yard looking for odds and ends that I needed and I came across a few v70's with the roof rails and some cross bars on them still. What years will fit my 2000 and is it possible to put them on mine since they didn't come factory?

 

from 1995 850 till 2000 v70 they will fit. My advice is to get them with the molding to, like that you can save yours in case you will ever go back to stock.

 

Thanks for the info I picked up roof rails and cross bars at the salvage yard this pasted weekend and I was able to get the moldings as well. All for only $10.00. well worth it.

 

I was thinking to get some to but i maybe use them once or twice per year. I know 10 bucks is nothing but you know the mileage is going down a little. Honestly the car look better without them. Any way i'm happy for you, hope you will use them often.
