I saw a five-year old thread on the topic but I'm wondering if anyone has found and installed roof rails on a v70. I bought mine used in 2003 and need a roof system to transport bicycles. The OEM parts are $400ish and I don't know enough about the non-factory parts to trust them.

Has anyone purchased and installed roof rails successfully? I want to do it myself.

I purchased a set of these for my S80, best price i found online. They are OEM equipment, work well, I've put over 7000 miles on mine hauling around a Thule box.

 

I got some rails on eBay. Next step is cross bars and a bike carrier! I'll likely go Thule since I've had excellent history with them.

 

If the 850 ones fit, i got a set from a 95 that I recently took off..want to sell them at a fair price
