Default 2001 V70 Power locks question.

Hi, we just purchased a 2001 V70 CPO for us and our first child. I have a dumb question. When in the car (engine running) the litlel "key icon" on the drivers door locks the doors. That part I understand. But how do I unlock them (say to give someone a ride) using the power locks? If I press the button again it just makes a noise like its locking the doors again. However if drivers door is open it WILL unlock all doors. Is this Normal? Thanks!

That is not normal it is supposed to unlock the doors.Try it from the passenger side and see if it works normal.
You might have a bad door Module.

Thanks Tech,
I tried from the other side and it does the same thing. Sometimes it unlocks, but most of the time it just "clicks" like its trying to lock the doors again. Any Ideas? I am bringing it back to dealer on Monday for a list of items that should have been checked as part of the CPO process but werent[:@].

There might be codes in the modules.Which if there is it will make them act like that as well.
