Is it possible to re-shim the AC Compressor Clutch without removing the compressor? My research indicates this re-shim will solve the problem of the compressor cutting in and out when the car is warm, but the mechanic says the compressor must come out. Any experience here? Thanks in advance!

 

Check the 850 section. There are a few post there that indicate that it is possible. I installed zip ties on the front of mine and it works great now.
