I have a 2001 V70 and the Sunroof wont close, just happened tonight. I checked the fuses related: #28(10A) and #34(15A). Both OK!

The strange thing is the list of systems attached to Fuse 28 are all out: Garage door opener, Vanity lights on mirrors, Map lights, and Power Sunroof switch, yet the 10A fuse is ok??

So it is acting as if Fuse 28 is blown, but its not, I even replaced the fuse to be sure, no go.

Any explanaitons? I read the thread on the 2002s regarding the Siren/UEM issues etc.. but is it different for this model year? THANKS IN ADVANCE.

 

Well, I read some more threads, followed some links, put together the info and Viola! Took out fuse 28, put it back in, used the remote to reset the computers by locking and then unlocking the car and then the sunroof closed and all the lights and garage door opener worked again. Fantastic!. Thanks for all the info on tis site. The power of Google and grassroots people like us are awesome. My wife thinks I'm a electronics god (at least for tonight) ;-)
