Default 2002 Volvo v70 nonTurbo Cylinder Layout Question

Hey there, I'm getting an "Cylinder 1 Misfire" code, but am unsure which one of the cylinders is actually number 1. Does anyone have a diagram or picture of this? or could describe it quickly to me visually? thanks in advance.

Cylinder #1 is on the passenger side closest to the timing belt.

thanks a lot, thats what I thought, best to be sure. If i could bother you further...

I replace all 5 spark-plugs, nothing changed. So after we switched the wires for cylinders 1 and 2, the error code still said cylinder 1 misfire. any ideas on what my issue may be?

Did you clear the code after the coil swap?
Before ruling on the injector I would do a compression test on #1 cylinder.

I have only seen a few injectors go bad. Another way to check the injectors is to pull the fuel rail out some. That is leaving all connected and have someone crank it over and watch the fuel flow out of all the injectors and see if it is the same.
