My pump seal leaks and I really dont want to get a new pump for 400 or rebuilt for 275. Can I just replace the shaft seal. I could take seal out and match it up but would like to already have it so I can have it done in same day. I posted on other sites with no response.

 

Vadis nor a couple of the dealers that list parts (and show expanded views) show a shaft seal for the power steering pump. The only seal at the pump shown at all is an o-ring where one of the lines connect.
