Is an 850 fan the same as a V70?

Is the heater fan and resistor the same on an 850 as a V70?
I have a problem with my fan not blowing (I think it's the resistor rather than the fan) and I know of a couple of 850s being broken for parts..

As long as it is not a 2001 V70 they are the same.

Excellent, thankyou for the info.. Mines a 99 V70, so a trip to the breakers yard will be on the cards this week.
