98 AWD V70 Turbo Oil Leak
I've got a minor oil leak coming from the turbo (75K). One parts site shows an oil pipe gasket and oil-line O-ring only. Another shows in inlet gasket, drain O-ring, oil-line O-ring (lower?), and oil-line gasket. I'm wondering whether the oil-leak "usual culprits" are the two listed on the first site, and that's why they don't carry all, or ?????. It sure looks easier to dig out the two vs all if that takes care of the leak.... Also, the manualstates (when removing the entire unit)to replace the pin bolts when re-assembling. Is that a common practice?
Thanks in advance for the advice.

The turbo itself will always leak a slight bit of oil.
The return line that goes into the block is known to leak. If it is it will leak on the back side of the engine to the drain plug.

Thanks for your reply. Volvo suggested that 90+% of the time, it's a leak caused by the the oil pipe gasket, following by the oilpipe O-ring. Since both are on the sameoil line, they replace bothas the most common fix. Now I just have to route it out..... Haines in very weak in diagrams for this unit, and the Volvo factory parts book does not put the oil line together with the turbo on the samediagram.
It is the o-ring that goes bad fast.
Never changed one just for the gasket leaking.
Only changed the gasket because the line was out.
It is a pain to work it out. Good luck.
