98 V70 Idle/Stalling Problem

I have a 98 V70 and last week after pulling off the highway, it began to sputter and eventually stalled. I pulled the code onit and it showed a bad front O2 sensor. I installed this last week and it starts fine, but after idling for a minute or two, begins to sputter and stall again. I replaced the spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor last night and though it starts much better, still stalling after a couple minutes.
My initial thought was fuel filter, but I noticed a deep noise right around the catalytic converter. I have been researching similar issues and it seems to be a fairly common problem with no common solution. I have heard that fuel filters rarely clog, so I'm thinking maybe it's the fuel pump?? I've tried to check the fuel pressure, but need to pull out the throttle body to get my gauge on it. All input is greatly appreciated!!
SOLUTION: Mass Air Flow (MAF)Sensorwas bad. Have ordered a new one, but the wagon runs with it disconnected. I did not get a MAF code, so I would suggest doing what I did before you start throwing parts on your V70. Disconnect the MAF and see if you can get it going, then move on if that's not the case.
