Default 98 V70 Starting question

Just purchased 98 V70. One owner who has had all services performed a the dealer. There is 72,000mi on the car.

Two questions:

1. When starting, after car has sat for over one hour, it will crank over for about 10 tp 15 seconds before firing. After firing it will slowly comeup toidle speed as if plugs are fouled but once running engine is responsive to gas pedal and sounds good. Is this normal or should the engine start immediately when key is turned?

2. There is a burning smell from the air vents when we start the car in the morning. I can smell some oil burning in the engine compartment but no leads on the driveway. Any ideas?

1. Have the fuel residual pressure checked.
It might be bleeding back and not holding pressure.

2. Inspect the engine for oil leaks.
