98 v70 turbo grey smoke

I have a 1998 Volvo V70 Turbo T5 with 238,420 miles and it is smoking a lot of grey smoke randomly when I drive it. It has oil in it and everything. It's gotten worse recently and is smoking a lot.... why?

When was the PCV last replaced? My guess would be that oil is getting past your turbo shaft and once so much is there it burns off through the motor. Just a wag.
