99 S80 Billowing whitish-grey smoke
I have a 1999 S80 that it billow whitish-grey smoke. When I initially start her up, the exhaust seems normal, but after about 30-40 seconds, it starts to put out the smoke and leave a heavy fog in the surrounding area. The smoke does NOT have much in the way of odor. The car runs great and sounds great! There are NO leaks anywhere that I can see... or on the ground below.
A little background, my daughter WAY over-filled the engine oil on it and ran it that way for a while (weeks). Took it to a quick change oil place and had them take out the extra quarts and bring it down to normal. There may have been some light smoking (not even sure if there was) prior to taking the extra oil out, but 10 or so miles later, it is now billowing.
Oil looks normal. Coolant looks normal.
Ideas????? Turbo, Oil Trap, Residual oil in exhaust that just needs to burn off, head gasket, etc...????????????????????

Hi and welcome to the forun.
Usually white/grey smoke means coolant in the motor, maybe head gasket leak. If the oil was overfilled I would drive it about 500 miles to see if it clears up. If not, you may need to seafoam it to see if that burns it off.
Pull a spark plug and see what they look like. Also, teach you daughter how to properly check fluids.
