Default Access to the battery

Is there any way to effectively disconnect the battery without physically getting to the battery terminals ina V70? Its such a PITA getting to it with the stuff stored under the floor and the spare wheel. I have no off street parking so i don't like unloading my car onto the footpathin the city.

You could put a battery isolator switch in the circuit, mounted at a convenient point for yourself.

I have done this on my son'smotorhome because something was draining the battery and we could not find it.

An examplecan be found at:

This is eBay UK but I am sure you could get one in the US.

The best way is to disconnect the battery itself.
