Default another used volvo, sorting problems out

Just purchased another 01 v70xc (already have one in the driveway), got it cheap and I am just sorting out all the problems.
Problems when i bought it:
1.No oil pressure-stop the engine message on the dash. I replaced oil pan seals, cleaned all the gunk and pick up tube, put new synthetic oil, that should be fine now.

2.p1332 cvvt solenoid. I just cleared the code for now, waiting to see if it comes back. Is it possible that it was triggered because of the sludge on the bottom and oil was not coming up to the top of the engine? If it comes back i will replace it, thats easy enough

3. Blue smoke comes out of exhaust, not all the time though. If car is idleing for a while (it warms up) and if I step on the gas it will throw puff of blue smoke out. When driving on highway its all fine. I seem to have enough power (comparing to my other volvo anyway) but i do hear hissing sound under the hood. I am suspecting turbo. I had it on the lift and turbo is wet. Are these signs of a bad turbo? It also triggered code p1238 (Turbocharger Control System - Flow Too High).
If that turns out to be a problem i need to located used/rebuild turbocharger and there are three diff. ones out there for these engine, depending on the engine code: 1. ID 8601692 2. ID 8658098 or 3. ID 8602396. How do i determine which one is mine??

thanks a bunch!

Check the oil trap, turbo return line gaskets??? Your boost valve may be bad, usually clipped on the airbox. Dealership for help on turbo?

Thanks for your reply!
yes, I know where turbo boost sensor is, i already replaced it on my other '01 v70xc. I can switch 'em and see if anything changes. But I dont think it would be smoking if that was the problem, or would it? Same question goes for turbo return line, can bad gasket cause anything more than oil leak? I am thinking that turbo seal is bad but I might be wrong?!?

Take off the turbo inlet pipe and check for oil there - it's normal to have a little bit of oil there, but if there is a lot of oil that would normally indicate that the seal is going. On my sister's car the turbo has been puffing a bit of smoke on start up for the last one and a half years and hasn't gotten worse. It's only on the first start in the morning - I think just enough oil accumulates in the compressor housing overnight that it puffs a little bit of smoke.

Default Try this

Hello, Get your hands on 6 qts. of Mobil1 0W-30 or Castrol 0W-30. Both might say "European Formula" on the bottle. What they both are is A3,B3 oils. It means there's a high temperature turbo-charger bearing additive in the oil. Since you've watching your sister's car you'll be able to detect any improvement. It costs no more than regular synthetic, you just have to find it. Kira
