I have a 2005 V70 which is due service in 4000 miles according to Volvo but the routine service required message is coming up each time I turn on the Ignition, cold anyone please help in giving me the procedure for Extinguishing this DAMMED thing if there is one, thanks Fellas

take it to a dealer and have them clear it -OR- it turns itself off after 1 minute so to be honest, unless it really bothers you I would just ignore it and go in for service when it needs it. Although most service lights are a scam and the car can be driven just fine w/o having to service it as often as that light comes on. Do not take that as me saying dont pay attention to your car, always pay attention to it and fluid levels.

this is how you reset turn key to position 1 than push and hold trip reset botton, than turn key to position 2, holding trip till the triangle light in center flashes than release trip botton and you should be all set

Please make sure someone is holding the passenger windshield wiper so it's not touching anything! Computers? Why don't they have a reset button!
