Default battery dead, manual key door cylinder not working

Have a 2005 v70 - appears my battery is dead and manual key is not working (have had some trouble in last month - not 100% sure though I think cylinder issue - and it is freezing cold here today). Any thoughts on how I can open the car - hopefully if I can get in , can try to get jump start. Thanks.

check youtube, there should be some how to vids. Does your key not work in the passenger or driver's door? (not sure what your model has). You can also try spraying some WD40 into the key cylinder to see if that loosens things up (be liberal as it will also flush out and bits of dirt if you use the small tube that comes with the can.

2005 V70 - I noticed manual key entry only on the driver side. I tried WD40 - that did not help
I checked if there is manual key entry on trunk - no luck with that either. Would appreciate any suggestions/thoughts on how to open the car .
