Guys, I got a second hand 99 v70glt, and I have the follwing two problems:

First off, breaks. Lets say the break is insensitive or it is a kind of lose, it ll need a deep step for it to start stoping, and not huge amout of force require on the padle inorder to stop the car. It have replaced some of the break parts because the front left and rear right cailaper got stucked. Both of the caiapers along with the rotors and pads on all four wheels, new breaking hoses for the front wheels. However, the problems remain. I have no warning lights on breaks since I rebuild the ABS module, I dont think the module rebuild can cost the problem, or can it?

Second, power upon acceleration from a stop. To be honest, I dont know how to describe my v70, it is just wont get a relatively good acceleration without a hard step on the acclerator, (around 2k to 3k rpm) I know the car weight about 2000klg. but man, it just cant accelerate faster than a honda civic from the 0 stop. (once again, i dont know how much rpm the honda is doing). I noticed vibrating sounds that coming from the engine or somewhere in the front at stop, it will go away once the car pull away from 40km/hr. and the v70 can go very fast actually once it start going, but it is just the pulling from a dead stop drove me mad. Right now, I got the ETS light on, it might be one of the cause. but again, I am not sure.

I wonder if there is anyway to test out my breaks and acceleration systematically and possiably slove them. Your input are highly appreciated.
