Volvo V70 Super capacity, super looks, super performance... this wagon turns heads and can still get the job done.

Can I go softer than the stock suspension?

Default Can I go softer than the stock suspension?

So I've got an '04 V70 AWD with the sport package, which means 18" wheels and slightly lower profile tires.. I'm familiar with the aftermarket options for struts and springs - Koni, Bilstein etc., but I've been told these are actually a bit stiffer than the stock suspension. The car rides way to stiff for my tastes (in a family wagon anyway), and on the generally horrendous streets of new york city, the car feels really unsettled and harsh. Can any of the aftermarket struts/shocks be adjusted to calm down the feel, and are there any springs out there that are less hard than the stock ones?
