cargo cover broken

I bought the cargo cover from Vlvworld.com back in March and now it's broken. The bar that hooks onto the gate area to keep the cover in closed position has ripped through the material. I think it's a bad design. Anyone else experience this before? Supposedly, this is OEM cover from Volvo. Thoughts?

I'm really surprised not that many people have experienced this issue before. Maybe cargo covers that already came with the car ARE different from this vendor I dealt with.
Since my emails to their customer service dept went unanswered, I just found myself a cheap and generic fix that has well, lasted months now. I just basically sowed the material around the bar shut until it was really tight. Basically, where the sticky/glue stuff was originally to hold the bar in place is now sowed together instead of glue. It's really nothing to look at but it does it's job and plus it's not noticable with the gate shut anyway.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, my cover is not actually broken. One of latches on the side of the car where the cargo cover attaches to tore off and one of the latches the cargo cover attaches to when open also broke off. Its part of the interior of the car and I haven't been able to find any replacements. Again, I've got a V40. (Sorry for the wrong Forum group, but the post was similar.)
