My wife and I recently purchased a '98 V70. I'm trying to find a security cover for the cargo area. Our car was apparently sold without one. So far, I haven't had much luck finding a cover to fit the 1998-2000 V70s on Ebay, and the local Volvo dealership wants about $250 for a new one. None of the aftermarket parts websites I've found offer much of a savings on these covers either.

Here's my question: has anyone tried to stick a security cover for the 2001-2004 wagons in an older V70? There are a lot of these for sale on Ebay, often for fairly reasonable prices. Will it fit?

Or, does anyone know where I can get a cargo cover for my car without spending a fortune?

Any words of advice would be greatly appreciated,

I beleive the inside of the 2001 and up it alot bigger then the older ones.

So I don't think it will fit.

 

I believe the classic shape V70 uses the same load covers as the original 850. I bought a load cover that had come out of a V70 and it fitted in my 850 perfectly.

This might be your best option to search for 850 load covers.
