CEM/REM on V70

CEM/REM on V70
Evening All.
Im new to this site so here goes. I got a volvo V70 my back passanger doors,tail gate doorand fuel hatch are dead lockedplus my rear reversing lights, fuel gauge & rear window wiper are not working. Took the car to main dealer today they said its my CEM &REM are at fault which is going to cost £1000 plus. Is there anyway i can get it fixedcheaper.Also cananybody tell me where they can be found on the car, It is a 51 reg

If they are indeed bad then no there is no cheaper way.
But I would check all the battery terminal connections and connections to the REM. Then REM(fuse panel) is mounted under the panel by the L/R taillight.
The CEM is under the dash on the L/S of the car. You will see a bunch of relays in it.
I have seen bad connections cause this problem quite a few times. It is usually at the battery and cables.
