Coolant Low Stop Engine
2003 2.4t 147k
There are some threads on this topic but none for my situation exactly.
Coolant Low Stop engine warning once the engine is up to temperature.
Engine does not overheat, ever
Coolant is never low.
Yesterday changed out expansion bottle sensor, no change in situation.
There is no float in this expansion bottle, right?
In the cooler months past, the coolant low warning occasionally went away then came back on.
Am I getting wrong information? If so, from where?
If this warning is valid, what might be setting it off, and what's to be done about it?
Thanks for any possible advice.

if your overflow reservoir shows the proper level for both cold and hot and you are getting a warning light, then its bad info and you should replace the coolant level sensor. Google "volvo 30741155" (that should be the part number for your model and goes for about $30)
