Coolant Low Stop Engine
I recently had my timing and drive belts changed on my 2004 V70 2.5T w/106000 miles. When I got the car back, the warning message said COOLANT LOW STOP ENGINE. My mechanic said he had to drain the radiator but also refilled it. The overflow tank is fine too, between the min/max lines. The thermostat is fine, when running for > 5 mins, the needle is just before the midway point. Is there any way to have the warning light turned off without going to a Volvo garage?
Thanks

I just replaced my coolant expansion tank on my C70 due to leaking. Under the tank is the coolant level tank plug.
On my car I had to remove the power steering tank and move it over, I did not need to disconnect it.
Lift the coolant tank and see if the coolant tank plug is connected or if the probe is in the bottom of the tank........?

Thanks CB. Once I got the tank and power steering fluid tank lifted, I noticed that the wire casing for the probe was about 1" below the bottom of the tank. I slid that up, reset the tanks, and started the car. No Light!
Thank you for the tip.
