hi all im new to the forum i have a question is it possible ti fit cruise control to my newly bought v70 2.5 t 1997 r. i previously owned a landrover discovery 2 which i fitted it to after finding out that they were all wired to have cruise but only used as an optional just wondering if the volvo was the same if it is possible what will i need to purchase to do this many thanks

no it doesnt already have cruise.judging by your question it should but also it doesnt have tracs neither which i find strange any help woulld be great many thanks

 

Anything is possible I am just not sure exactly what parts you will need.

I know you will need the cruise motor.(Mounts to the bottom of the battery tray) Turn signal switch, Brake release switch,diaphram under the dash to move the gas pedal.

But not sure about the rest. I have only ever seen cars with them already in there. I don't think I have ever seen one with out.
