Various error messages and cures?

Various error messages and cures?
I've had my 2001 T5 for two years now and every time I get in and start the engine I have three error messages:
Airbag service required
Engine service required
Alarm system service required.
My lovely local Volvo dealer tells me: airbag service - it may be a dirty connection under the seat, but they don't know where to start, and it's big money to check them all. This I can live with as it's not a UK MOT test failure.
However:
Alarm service: the actual words they used were: your alarm is GONE.
Engine service: the car MAY require an O2 or lambda sensor, but they don't know if it's front or rear, and even then this may not cure the problem.
I suspect a previous owner has cut the wires to the alarm siren as the lights flash but there is no sound. Where exactly is the siren located and what does it look like?
I can also replace the O2 sensors myself, but are they 3, 4 or 5 wire? I can buy them much cheaper off the Net than from the dealer, but need to know exactly what type they are.
Sorry for the long winded post..... but as always help is appreciated!

RE: Various error messages and cures?
Did they print out the codes from the system and give them to you?
That would help us help you a little more.
For the O2 sensor best would be to buy a Bosch DIRECT fit sensor. Volvo's do not like universal O2 sensors.
Follow link above for the alarm siren info.
