hi on my v70 both doors front and rear on the passager side lock but dont unlock with the central locking can anyone tell me why this is?

 

try disconnecting battery for 15-20 mins if that does not work ....with key out of ignition pull out some of the ecm fuses and check no check engine light or anything like that?(check alarm fuse) also locks might be going bad my driver rear door on my s80 is doing it itermeditally... not to hard to replace what year is your car.?

 

Lock motors are bad.

 

I have the same issue with my 98 XC70. With the remote key, I can unlock only drivers door, all other door locks just jiggle, and the rear hatch will lock. Also, with the remote, I can unlock the rear hatch with the hatch button. When I lock the doors, (even if I go around a manually unlock every door) all doors will lock and the hatch will unlock, with the remote.

On the panel at the drivers seat I can lock all door, but hatch will unlock. I can not unlock any door from drivers panel, all lock just jiggle.

I have a couple of issues withmy V70 1st the key will not lock the drivers door but it works on everything else. 2nd the handle on the inside made a funny click sound and went sort of loose. I can still open the door from the inside but the handle is all floppy
