I had a problem with ice build up on my driver's window during the winter. Long story short, I didn't wait long enough for the ice to melt and I ended up breaking the plastic anchors that ride in the lift mechanism for the window. I replaced the anchors/clips and the window goes up and down almost like it should. My problem is that when the window gets to the closed position, it reverses and wants to open. I'm not sure if there's a sensor I need to adjust or just reset the window regulator position.

Anyone have a recommendation?

Dealership, have it re-initialized. They should not charge you.

 

So it's a software fix.... everything is a software fix these days. Glad I didn't take the door apart again and try and adjust it mechanically! Thanks for the info.

 

Not so much software, but computer wise.
