Hey guys, new to the forum and Volvos. Got myself a 99 V70 had it for about 40 days now. Runs great but all of a suden today the ETS light came on when I left from getting a sandwich from Subway

Any ideas???

When I boght it, the one thing that stood out to me under the hood was that it had a new MAF.

???

 

That means there is a code for the electronic throttle module.
Volvo had extended the warranty on it for 10 years 200,00 miles. But the production date maybe make it out of warranty already. Make sure the recall software has already been done on the car.

 

Thanks for the info. Is there any other way (other than visiting a stealership) of finding out about the recall software???

Also is the recall & warranty info posted somewhere I can find it and print it???

Simple way call a Dealership and give them your Vin# and ask if there is any open recalls.
