Fitting a CD Changer
I want to fit a CD changer to my 1999 V70 XLT. The head unit (Volvo SC802) has the relevant socket on the back of it but, is the car likely to have been pre-wired (when manufactured)ready to accept a changer.
Where was the factory changer mounted? Which changers did Volvo use?
Any help would be greatly appreciated..

My sons 850 was prewired, just didn't have the CD changer. The wire was already connected to the back of the HU. If yours doesn't have a wire already plugged in then most likely you will need to run the wire.
Mmm, I finally found the time to have a look and sadly there is no wiring for a changer present.
I'm now considering just putting a single cd headunit in. Preferably a Volvo item so I don't have to alter any of the present wiring and also so it looks like it belongs there.
I don't supose any UK members on here have one for sale?
