I own a 2001 V70 T5 with 100K miles. Recently I noticed a slight popping noise coming from both driver and passenger side front end during moderate to hard accleration. Typically makes noise when shifting from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd only. Pretty sure not transmission related because it is very smooth. Any thoughts???

Engine mounts?

 

Just had front (hydraulic) engine mount replaced, maybe I need to have them go over others again???

 

Check the torque mounts.
