Default How to adjust rear hatch

I searched and could not find how to adjust the rear hatch on my 98 V70 Wagon. It rattles a bit and i would like to stop it.

Thanks

If it is a rattle, you can get a repair kit from ipdusa.com They are fairly inexpensive and easy to install.

However, I need to adjust my hatch on my 98 V70. At the top of the hatch on the passenger side, it sticks up about 1/8 inch above the seal. On the drivers side it sits flush. As a result when it rains, rain drips down my rear window. I never noticed the issue until I washed my car the other day. I just moved from Las Vegas where it never rains to North Dakota. I am afraid of water/snow/ice getting inside the car.

I could not find the repair kit on ipd site. Can some link it? Is the latch itself not adjustable at all?

Thanks

The repair kit is for the trim panel. The striker plate is movable and I saw that newer ones are available from Volvo from one of the messages in the forum. I will try to look and find a link about the striker.
