I have a US model 98 V70R. My ABS lamp, trac lamp, parking brake lamp are all not functioning. I believe they were disconnected by the previous owner because the ABS/Trac computer was fried. I've had the computer repaired and want to fix the lamps. I am looking for V70 specific instructions regarding removing the dash top which I think is the only way to do this job, i.e. remove dash top, remove instrument cluster, replace bulbs and put it all back together. I can't believe this is such a PITA to do, but it is my understanding this is how it's done. I saw some 850 instructions but my car's dash seems a bit different. Does anyone know if VADIS has detailed instructions for this job? Should I just let the dealer make a few bucks off me and have them do the job?

 

The instructions should be in Vadis and detailed.

It really isn't much different than doing the 850.
