Does anyone use these for timing belt changes? They seem like a great idea to me, but i haven't done a belt change yet. i'd hate to be getting the belt on and then have one of the cams slightly rotate or something & it seems like you could just slap the locking tool in prior to removing your belt and keep your timing just like it is... any downsides to this tool?

 

I mark everthing before removing the belt.
I have tried the tool that locks the pulleys and it only gets in the way.

LOL as long as the pullys to block is marked then there will never be a problem.
