K&N air filter
Are these really worth it? I heard a lot of pros and cons to it, but in the end, would you buy one?
Here are some pros/cons that i've seen.
Pros:
-never have to buy another one
-just wash, spray with oil, and it's good to go again
-let's more air in and itll increase HP and efficiency
Cons:
-wider holes lets more stuff through and can potentially clog your engine
Thanks for your opinions/suggestions!

I use the K&N filters in my Mercedes but not in my Volvos. These filters are already oiled by the manufacturer when you buy them. When they become dirty and time to normally replace the filters, you clean them and then re-oil them.......K&N has a kit you buy for this. As mentioned, you spray just a very light amount of oil........over oiling can clog the MAF which might cause it to fail and need replacement. In the case of my Mercedes, I just replaced my original air filters with the K&N filters at 60000 miles per the MB service recommendation but I'll probably clean mine before the next 60000 miles.
