I just bought a 2000 2nd gen V70 and it didn't come with a remote. I would like to get a remote and get my key reprogrammed as I'm not sure where the originals are and the seller knows where i live. I seem to be able to get a remote on eBay for a fraction of the price of from a dealer. I'm not sure which one I should be getting as 2000 was the model transition year so it can be unclear sometimes which parts are needed. it seems to be one of these 2. I'd like to know which style I should be looking for. Is there anything I should know about buying one of these online?

You need the First one.

But make sure it Comes with the original Package. You will need the 16 or 18 digit Program # to have the Dealer program it.

If you don't get the #'s you will have to throw away or use as a Paper weight.
