Default Liftgate panel removal - 1998
The liftgate latch on our 1998 V70 wagon is broken. I can not figure out how to free the inside panel/cover around the release lever. Does it snap in?

My Chilton manual makes no mention, other than to remove it to remove the liftgate itself.
