mad respect for the forums here. say, I am in the market for a new car. definitely was gonna jump between a xc90 and xc70, but I saw a craigslist ad for sale about a V70R.

i had a Volvo 850R couple years back and it served me well till I hit a deer. anyways, to my question...

while I travel to see this beauty:
what are some specific things about this model / year that I should inspect?
what to look for while it drives?
is 8000 a decent price, or how low could I talk him down since he's stating obo with his price?
anything I should ask him to gather more intell about my purchase?

I used to lurk the forums here quite a bit for repairs years ago, so I see how well everyone here responds to inquiries. I hope you guys help me make a better educated decision with my next vehicle purchase. (no doubt you will)
